For successful application, simply remove the plastic backing from the icing sheet and apply directly to your treats. We recommend applying them to soft buttercream for best results, or onto fondant or ganache with a light brush of water to help the image adhere perfectly. Ensure the icing or base is soft when applying so the image sticks firmly. Press gently with dry hands or a fondant smoother to ensure a seamless finish.
After application, place your decorated cupcakes or cake in the fridge (without covering the cupcake or cake) to prevent the edible ink from sweating or melting, and let them cool. Before using any edible image, remember to store it in a ziplock bag at room temperature; please do not store edible images in the fridge or freezer.
